About Prea
Prea is a behavioral scientist, facilitator, educator, researcher, global consultant and certified psychotherapist. Her work is focused on helping people better understand their beliefs and patterns, and from there make room for the changes they hope and yearn for. Her goal is to help people feel more connected, better understood, alive, secure, more able to tolerate risks and loss, more compassionate, and living life with greater confidence and integrity. She brings together and uses a diverse and eclectic array of tools and approaches, that are uniquely catered to each individual and group. Our aim is to help you feel more empowered in your own self care, to that end we teach and help you implement a set of practises, in a relatively short time frame, that you can put to use for life.
A former professor of Global Health from George Washington University and a visiting professor at institutes across Bangladesh, China, Kenya, Uganda and Ethiopia. She has worked with people across a range of environments that includes villages and slums. She has worked and consulted for a range of global institutions such as UNAIDS, UNICEF, WHO, WFP, etc. She earned her PhD in Sociomedical Sciences from Columbia University, followed by a fellowship at Harvard University, as a Global Equity Fellow.
She started her research looking at various at a range of “risk” behaviours that people engage in, to cope with life, and the incentives we can give to change and implement better coping strategies. She has worked across countries in Africa, Asia, Europe and Latin America. Her learning and studying continue every day and she incorporates what she learns into her work.

Beliefs and Philosophy
The programmes and curriculum are designed to help people begin to understand their habits, and core beliefs. These programmes are a space to learn more about yourself, your relationships, and how your life experiences impact you. You can go for this programme without having a major life problem and with the intention of growth, remaining productive, and to feel more balanced and at peace..
We work to create a customized process for you that support you in creating and implementing new strategies that serve you now. In order to do the work most effectively, clients ideally have to commit to a minimum of ten weeks. In this period you also get introduced to a core set of tools, and can start to implement them on your own.
The primary goal is to help each client feel empowered in their ability to understand themselves and make decisions, build connections and have the kind of communication that align with your core principles. Let’s practice going for this programme, not just when you are in crisis.
